Guardianships & Conservatorships

Guardianships for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and conservatorships for individuals no longer able to manage their own affairs, are vital roles administered through the Connecticut Probate Courts. We have helped numerous families petition the court for these roles and become successfully appointed — whether the goal is to have you, or another qualified and willing loved one, appointed as conservator or guardian, or to select a professional fiduciary to manage a loved one’s affairs responsibly and in their best interest.
We also serve directly in the roles of Conservator of the Estate, and Conservator of the Person for individuals who need that level of support, and we serve as court-appointed or privately retained counsel for respondents in guardianship and conservatorship matters.
